Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on October 13, 1959. Graduated in 1983 from the Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Sao Paulo Law School. Specialization in Intellectual Property at Fundação Getúlio Vargas de São Paulo. Joined the firm in 1997 working with Intellectual Property Law, focusing on trademarks, trademark prosecution and Intellectual Property Litigation. Registered at the Brazilian Bar Association in 1984, Sao Paulo Chapter. Member of the Brazilian Industrial Property Agents Association.
