Professional Experience
Alex Silveira Junior joined Trench Rossi Watanabe Advogados in 2024 and is a Junior Lawyer in the corporate, mergers and acquisitions, contracts and capital markets areas of the São Paulo office.
Specializing in corporate law and capital markets, he frequently represents issuers, shareholders, financial institutions and investors in a variety of transactions involving the structuring, registration and listing of companies with regulatory bodies and stock exchanges in Brazil and abroad, and M&As of publicly and privately-held companies in unregulated and regulated segments, as well as in corporate and arbitration disputes before arbitration chambers and administrative bodies.
He also has experience in banking law, advising companies, banks, financial institutions, investment funds and investors on the distribution and offering of debt securities, project financing in the infrastructure and oil and gas industries, debt and asset restructuring and renegotiation operations, as well as bank financing and matters related to structured finance operations.
Academic Background
Graduated in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Cum Laude. He is currently studying for a master’s degree in Business Law and Economic Activities at the State University of Rio de Janeiro, with completion scheduled for 2027.

- He is the author of the monograph “Remote Voting and Participation in Companies”, defended at UFRJ in 2024 and approved with the highest grade and recommendation for publication. Published in 2024 in the institutional repository of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Advised Yinson Production on the refinancing of FPSO Anna Nery, with the issue of USD 1 billion in project bonds distributed on the London Stock Exchange.
Advised CBO Serviços Marítimos S.A. on its issue of non-convertible debentures distributed to qualified and professional investors.
Advised Sinqia on its acquisition by Evertec.
