Pay Transparency Report: Deadline for Disclosure and Proof Requirement
In brief
Last Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Ministry of Labor and Employment (“MTE”), through the Emprega Brasil portal, made available the 4th Pay Transparency and Remuneration Criteria Report to more than 54,000 companies.
In more detail
Companies have until September 30 to publish the Report on their websites, social media, or similar channels, ensuring broad disclosure to employees and the general public. In addition to publication, it is essential to keep records proving effective disclosure, such as screenshots, active links, or other evidence demonstrating compliance with this obligation.
Meeting this deadline is crucial, as the MTE has adopted a stricter approach to enforcing Law No. 14,611/2023. This trend is evident both in the fines already imposed for non-compliance with the Equal Pay Law and in the new requirement, starting this cycle, to provide in the official system either the electronic address or an uploaded image of where the Report was published, to facilitate inspections.
In the coming months, a new round of nationwide inspections is expected, making it extremely important to ensure that registrations in the Electronic Labor Domicile (DET) are up to date, as well as to regularly monitor the system for notifications.
