OECD Guide

On June 10, 2022, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) published the roadmap for the next steps in Brazil’s ascension process to the membership of this international organization. This is a very significant development for Brazilian and multinational companies operating in the country, as it points to possible reforms in important sectors of the Brazilian legal regime, especially in areas such as tax, banking and capital markets, environmental, consumer law, and antitrust and compliance.
