Trench Rossi Watanabe Opens New Office on Faria Lima and Expands Strategic Presence in São Paulo

07/05/2026

Trench Rossi Watanabe announces the opening of its new office in São Paulo, located at Salma Tower, on Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima – one of Brazil’s leading financial and business hubs. The opening marks the consolidation of a strategy developed over recent years, focused on the sustained growth of the firm’s transactional practices, the lateral hiring of new partners, and the strengthening of this area as one of its strategic pillars.

The initiative also includes the modernization of the firm’s existing office at EZ Towers, on Avenida Dr. Chucri Zaidan. More than a physical expansion, the move reflects a broader strategic repositioning, reinforcing Trench Rossi Watanabe’s presence across two complementary business hubs in São Paulo. With this configuration, the firm becomes the only big law firm in Brazil operating with two fully integrated office platforms in the city – going beyond structures designed exclusively for meetings or support functions, a model adopted by part of the market.

The new setup brings the firm closer to different client profiles and economic sectors, while supporting its continued growth and increasing sophistication. On Faria Lima, where the firm began operating in April with its Corporate & Finance and Tax teams, Trench Rossi Watanabe is now positioned at the heart of São Paulo’s financial center, close to financial institutions, investment funds, fintechs and listed companies. At Chucri Zaidan, where the Antitrust, International Trade, Compliance, Civil Litigation, Public Law, Criminal, Intellectual Property, Technology and Data Privacy, and Labor teams remain, the firm preserves its 27-year presence in the Berrini region, serving a consolidated client portfolio that includes multinational companies, technology firms, pharmaceutical companies and Asia-based organizations.

Located on the second floor of Salma Tower, the new office was designed to reflect Trench Rossi Watanabe’s current moment: a modern and sophisticated firm, deeply connected to the market. The project prioritizes flexible layouts, open spaces, adaptable workstations and collaborative areas, in line with the dynamics of the firm’s work, which require constant integration between teams, agility in decision-making and the ability to respond quickly to complex demands.

A central pillar of the architectural project is its green concept, which integrates Salma Tower’s external wooded area into the office environment. The combination of vegetation, wood and contemporary architectural solutions creates a space that conveys institutional solidity and sophistication, while also promoting well-being, comfort and functionality. Overall, the new office embodies the firm’s strategy: a Trench Rossi Watanabe prepared to handle highly complex matters, with infrastructure aligned with the sophistication of its work, while preserving its identity, culture and client experience.

The architectural project for the new Faria Lima office was developed by Zien Arquitetura, responsible for the design, with project management by CBRE and construction by Saeng Engenharia. The initiative was part of a broader plan to ensure flexible use, state-of-the-art technological infrastructure and adaptability to different work formats and client interactions.

As part of the same strategic movement, Trench Rossi Watanabe also modernized its EZ Towers office. The project, also led by CBRE and Zien Arquitetura, with construction by B5, maintained conceptual consistency between the two platforms and included layout updates, the expansion of collaborative areas, new interior design elements and enhanced technological integration. The renovation also introduced more flexible and welcoming environments, including a new Workcafé designed to support different uses and dynamics of work and interaction.

Beyond responding to market transformations, the initiative reflects the firm’s consistent return to in-person work. Operating two fully integrated platforms in São Paulo allows Trench Rossi Watanabe to balance client proximity, operational efficiency and quality of life for its people. Over the years, part of the team has established itself in the Berrini region, while another group has remained closer to the financial center – an arrangement that expands opportunities for integration, mobility and well-being, without compromising technical excellence.

“This initiative represents the consolidation of a strategy built over recent years, aligned with the significant growth of the firm’s transactional practices and the evolving needs of our clients. The new Faria Lima office strengthens our presence in a region that is central to the business environment in Brazil, while preserving integration among our teams, technical excellence and our recognized international engagement – hallmarks that have always defined Trench Rossi Watanabe’s work,” says Simone Dias Musa, Managing Partner at Trench Rossi Watanabe.
