Trench Rossi Watanabe announces three new partners

04/07/2024

Trench Rossi Watanabe has just announced the appointment of three new partners. As of July 1, the professionals, who were already part of the firm’s team, will join the firm in their respective practice areas: Fernanda Haddad, in Dispute Resolution & Wealth Management; Gabriela Bezerra Fischer, in Energy, Mining and Infrastructure, and Manuela Demarche, in Environment, Climate Change and Sustainability.

“This appointment is the result of the exceptional work that these three colleagues have done over the years. Each of them offers a strategic and innovative perspective on our clients’ needs. I am sure that they will succeed in their new challenges and demands, and that our firm will continue to evolve with their growth,” says Claudio Moretti, partner and member of Trench Rossi Watanabe’s Management Committee.

The appointment of three young female lawyers also attests to the firm’s commitment to the pursuit of gender equality, as it strengthens the female presence in leadership – which is already one of the most representative in the legal sector. “Accompanying the professional development of our talents and, as a result, the formation of a new group of leaders is always very stimulating, even more so when we manage to reflect the necessary social demands for more diversity and inclusion,” concludes Moretti.

Fernanda, the new partner in the Dispute Resolution & Wealth Managemente group, expresses her satisfaction: “I’ve always spent my career at the firm very sure of what I wanted. It’s a path full of challenges, which I’ve been fortunate enough to face with a lot of partnership from my mentors, in an extremely collaborative environment. I’m very happy and honored to have taken another step in my career. I see my appointment as an achievement for the whole group and I hope, in this new phase, to make it even stronger.”

Gabriela, promoted to partner in Energy, Mining and Infrastructure, shares her vision: “My life philosophy has always been aligned with the firm’s values. I consider Trench Rossi Watanabe my home, where I built my career and also created very sincere bonds that I will always carry with me. I hope to be able to contribute to the firm’s long-term vision, inspiring others and promoting an inclusive environment of excellence.”

Manuela, now a partner in the Environment, Climate Change and Sustainability practice, says: “Trench Rossi Watanabe has always been my safe haven. I value respect for people, which is something we experience strongly here, and the vision of putting women in charge. I bring the message that there is room for everyone and that we must trust in our potential. Now, as a partner, I hope to continue promoting a collaborative and inspiring environment.”

With the promotions, the firm now has 58 partners on its roster.
