Professional Experience
Daniel Rocha is an associate in the Environmental, Consumer, and Sustainability practice group, focusing on legal advisory, administrative proceedings, and contractual negotiations, including the development of legal strategies, regulatory risk management, and direct interaction with clients and authorities in both domestic and international contexts; in the Consumer Law field, Daniel advises on and handles consultations and administrative proceedings before federal, state, and municipal authorities, including SENACON/DPDC, PROCONs, and Public Prosecutor’s Offices, with experience in matters such as product recalls, commercial offers, data protection, misleading and abusive advertising, e-commerce, contractual clauses, commercial practices, and regulatory compliance under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, as well as representing clients from a wide range of industries — including technology, energy, automotive, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and services — often in complex, multi-jurisdictional matters with significant regulatory exposure.
Academic Background
He holds a law degree from the University of São Paulo (USP) and in French law (License en Droit) from Université Lumière Lyon 2, and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Digital Consumer Law and Globalization at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
