PGE/RJ extends the payments of installment program and validity of tax clearance certificates

| On May 26, 2020, the Rio de Janeiro State enacted Resolution PGE/RJ nº 4.547/20, in order to regulate Decree nº 46.982/20, which in its turn extended the deadline for payment of installments of tax debts carried out by taxpayers resulting from debts with the State Attorney General´s Office. According to the Resolution, the installments due in May, June and July may be paid in August, October and December, respectively depending on their due date. In addition, the Rio de Janeiro State extended, for sixty days, the validity period of tax clearance certificates issued by the Attorney General’s Office, whose due date comprise the period from March 17 to May 23, 2020.
