PGE/RJ extends validity of tax clearance certificates

In the midst of the measures that are being adopted by public administration agencies due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Attorney General’s Office of the state of Rio de Janeiro issued Resolution PGE no. 4,527 / 20, putting public officials belonging to “risk groups” on temporary leave and establishing a rotation regime for the remaining public officials.

In addition, to mitigate the impact of such restrictive measures over the economic activity of taxpayers located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, the Attorney General’s Office anticipated the possible problems arising from the reduced office hours and extended by an additional 30 days the validity of tax clearance certificates already issued.
