Secretary of Foreign Trade Ordinance # 44/2020: drawback special customs regimes regulation

| On July 27, 2020, the foreign trade secretary enacted SECEX Ordinance # 44/2020, ruling on the authorization and use of drawback customs regimes, revoking the former drawback provisions contained in SECEX Ordinance # 23/2011, which consolidates foreign trade and customs operations. SECEX Ordinance # 44/2020 rules on drawback regimes granted after it entered into full force and effect, which will occur 15 (fifteen) business days after its publication. Drawback regimes granted based on previous regulation will remain valid and be governed by the regulation in force by the time their approval. |
