Partner of Trench Rossi Watanabe since 2002, Simone joined the firm in 1998, having worked in the Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo offices, where she is currently based. She is currently one of the leaders of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and an intense promoter of projects related to gender equity in the firm, especially those involving female leadership and minority inclusion. Antonio Russo is an established practitioner of international tax law. He is a partner with Ablfs McKfnzif Amsterdam’s award-winning Transfer Pricing Team. Antonio lectures at numerous seminars and conferences around the world, as well as contributes articles to several international tax reviews. He has been a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) since 2001. Since July 2019, Antonio is Chair of the Global Tax Practice Group.
Antonio specializes in Transfer Pricing design, implementation and valuation of companies and intangible assets. He has extensive experience in tax planning/restructuring engagements, and has performed TP studies for clients in numerous industries. Luciana Nobrega e Silva Loureiro joined the Firm in 2010. She integrates the Tax practice group, with focus on international tax planning and consulting. Luciana has a wide breadth of experience supporting multinationals in their international expansion and/or reorganization strategies, including tax planning and support to corporate reorganizations, transfer pricing analysis and discussions with tax authorities (APAs and rulings), structuring and implementation of investments funds in Brazil and abroad, as well as domestic and cross border financial transactions. She is also skilled in legal project management for multijurisdictional corporate reorganizations. Luciana worked for two years in Luxembourg as a tax advisor in the Private Equity, Hedge and Real Estate Funds practice areas and one year in London at part of the global reorganization practice of Ablfs McKfnzif.
Carlos Alberto Linares Garcia is a member of Baker & McKenzie’s Tax Practice Group in Monterrey. He holds a doctor’s degree in Economics from Price University, and has extensive knowledge in the fields of transfer pricing, financial valuation and economic competence. Dr. Linares received the 2000 Banamex Award in Economics, as well as the Inter-American Award in Social Security in 2002. He is an active member of the Instituto Mexicano de Ejecutivos de Finanzas and the Colegio de Economistas of Nuevo Leon.
Dr. Linares provides sound advice on transfer pricing—especially with respect to the coordination of projects involving transfer pricing compliance, planning and controversies—for multinational companies operating in various Latin America countries that have tax regulations on the matter. He also works on the economic and financial valuation of tangible and intangible assets, economic studies and the economic aspects of the federal law of economic competence.

Leticia Ribeiro C. de Figueiredo joined the Firm in 1998, as a corporate trainee, and became partner in 2013. Viviane Scrivani joined the firm in 2014. She is a member of the employment practice group, working with a focus on labor litigation, contract terminations, collective actions, audit on labor matters, general consultancy on labor legislation, employment contract and benefits. She has a strong performance in labor litigation through risk analysis and contingency of labor claims, collective actions, including matters related to occupational health and safety. The future is digital. The past year has evidenced that every business must be ready to go online. It has also shown to legislators that will need to speed up the pace of implementing tax developments in order to ensure an adequate allocation and taxation of profits among nations. Erik Christenson practices in the area of general international tax planning for businesses.
Erik's practice focuses on advising multinational corporations — both US and foreign-based — on all aspects of the taxation of international structures and cross-border transactions and operations. He represents clients in various industries, including online services and e-commerce, software, payments and fintech, and life sciences.
Erik is the liaison to the Global Tax Practice Group for the Technology Media and Telecom Industry Group, and he is a member of the leadership team reporting to the Global Tax Practice Steering Committee. Adam coordinates buyer’s and vendor’s due diligences, including corporate, contracts, real estate, financing and regulatory matters. Ines Vazquez is a partner in Estudio Echecopar. Prior to joining the Firm, she was the head of Latin America Power's Legal Department for two years, during which she gained wide experience and was exposed to transactions in multiple jurisdictions. She has worked on privatization and concession procedures in the electric power sector for private clients, as well as in bidding processes of public services concessions in general. She also has a solid background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and has participated in several acquisition transactions and sale of companies, assets and shares participations, including mergers, spin-offs, reorganizations and other structures, both domestic and international.

Felipe Noronha Ferenzini joined the firm in 2009 and became a partner in 2018. He co-coordinates the Compliance and Investigations Group in Brazil. João Augusto Gameiro became partner of the firm in 2018, when he took over the leadership of the Corporate Criminal Law group. As a defense attorney, he has represented several multinational companies and their shareholders and officers in police investigations, criminal lawsuits, administrative procedures, and congressional investigations on tax evasion, environmental crimes, crimes against consumers, antitrust crimes, anti-corruption, anti-counterfeiting, and money laundering cases. He has also worked as a legal assistant at the General Public Prosecution Office of the State of São Paulo. In addition, Gameiro has advised foreign companies regarding Brazilian criminal and compliance laws, performed due diligence focused on criminal, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption liabilities and conducted internal investigations on corporate frauds, corruption, and anticompetitive practices.

Monica Pereira Cavalcanti joined the Rio de Janeiro office in 1998 and became partner in 2010.
